Since 1995, UrbanArt has focused on introducing influential artists in contemporary art and their works. As the Sotheby's official dealer, we worked on the basis of trust and networking established in global art market. And we also provided consulting services in public art field, and supported young artists to build their career.
UrbanArt is going to develop further initiative contents of exhibition based on consortium with museums to broaden spectrum of art world.
1995년에 설립된 어반아트는 국내외에서 영향력 있는 현대미술 작가와 작품들을 소개하는 데 주력해 온 화랑입니다.
1998년에 미국 소더비즈(Sotheby’s)의 공식 딜러로 선정된 이후, 20여년간 세계 미술시장에서 쌓은 신뢰와 네트워크를 바탕으로 미술계의 중심에서 일하고 있습니다. 또한 이상적인 공공미술 사업을 실현하기 위해 대기업의 파트너로서 미술품 설치 컨설팅을 한 바 있으며, 젊은 작가들이 예술가로서 첫걸음을 내딛도록 지원하기도 했습니다.
폭넓은 미술계의 스펙트럼을 만들어가는 어반아트는 한걸음 나아가 미술관들과의 컨소시엄을 통해 규모 있고 혁신적인 전시 컨텐츠를 개발함으로써 한국미술계의 일익을 담당하는 화랑의 역할을 다할 것입니다.
